Merkabah, also spelled Merkaba, is the divine light emanating from all individuals. The Bible refers to it as a divine vehicle set to rescue the World by teaching individuals the way to ascension. It may be accessed by individuals in order to reach harmony with themselves and their surroundings. Through a specific meditation technique people are able to create the merkabah around their body and make conscious contact with their higher selves. The merkabah technique consists of a combination of spiritual techniques. The idea is to become a conscious breather. To do this, breaths must be rhythmic and shallow.
There are seventeen breaths necessary to reach the merkabah. The first six breaths balance the polarities within a person's eight electrical circuits and cleanse these circuits at the same time. The next seven breaths reestablish the proper pranic flow through a person's body. The fourteenth breath changes the balance of pranic energy within the body from third dimensional to fourth dimensional awareness. The last three breaths recreate the merkabah's rotating fields within the body as well as around it. If meditation and breathing is practiced for 10 minutes each day, it is believed that the individual will attain enlightenment.
