Coaching

Coaching consists of a structured relationship between a trained professional coach and an individual or group which is directed at helping the individual or group achieve positive changes that will lead to success in their personal or professional lives. There are various coaching modalities, such as:

Life coaching. This practice aims to help clients determine and achieve personal goals. A life coach may employ various methods to help clients during the process of setting and reaching their goals, such as mentoring, sociology, psychology, and goal-setting techniques. In this particular case of coaching, the coach does not act as a therapist.

Business coaching. This is considered the practice of providing support and sometimes advice to an individual or group so they may learn to pinpoint which actions can help them achieve business success. Business coaches work with techniques that will help their clients improve leadership, teamwork, communication, goal setting, and other areas of company dynamics.

Personal coaching. This consists of a relationship constructed based on the goals, interests, and objectives stated by the client.

Health coaching. This form of coaching is aimed at helping individuals cope with and manage their illnesses.
