AtlasPROfilax

AtlasPROfilax is a form of treatment developed in the 1990s by Swiss René-Claudius Schuemperli. C. Schuemperli discovered that the first cervical vertebra, otherwise known as the atlas, is dislocated in most humans, which leads to a series of physical and psychological ailments that can be corrected through special treatment.

A dislocated atlas creates unnecessary pressure on the spinal cord, different cranial nerves, and other nerve tracts. This dislocation causes severe disturbances and changes in posture, leading to neck pain, stiff neck, back pain, lumbago, scoliosis, knee pain, and other symptomatic ailments and diseases.

The AtlasPROfilax method developped by C. Schuemperli consists of a single application which removes the dislocation and allows the atlas to return to its natural position. After the application, however, it is recommended to support the self healing process by receiving regular neck and back massages.
