As you already know, these articles are not meant to ponder on medical or psychological terms, but rather to introduce alternative techniques or therapies that might help us in achieving wellbeing and a more comprehensive view of our body, mind, and spirit.

And so this month’s focus is on the subconscious, as this seems to be where we store a variety of information which leaves a mark on the way we behave and perceive life.
This month we recommend two therapies that may help you discover what is stored in your subconscious:

Neuro Hypnotic Repatterning
Neuro Hypnotic Repatterning uses the hypnotic process to teach people new, more positive ways to react and leave behind any negative behavior. According to founders of this therapy, behavior works automatically, so if responses can be repatterned, then negative actions can be replaced by positive ones. To do this, deep trance tools must be used.

Hypnosis
It’s a modified state of the consciousness, for example when we draw a blank or when we do some repetitive task mechanically. At that point, we are far from reality and, without even realizing, we are in a hypnotic trance. This state opens the doors to the subconscious, so that the therapist can help the patient access the subconscious and find the solutions to problems.

Hypnosis and Neuro Hypnotic Repatterning are some of the short therapies which allow an individual to solve a series of problems, from headaches to strange behaviour, smoking, or even allergies, phobias, and feelings or emotions which stand in the way of happiness.
